Community Listening Session for Outdoor Pikes Peak Initiative
January 24, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
The Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance (PPORA) wants to understand the public’s desires and values for ensuring that Colorado remains a world-class outdoor destination while preserving our land, water, wildlife, and quality of life within the three counties of El Paso, Teller and Fremont. As the Colorado Outdoor Regional Partner for the Pikes Peak region, PPORA has launched the Outdoor Pikes Peak Initiative (OPPI) and is conducting a series of Community Listening Sessions to offer the public the opportunity to weigh in on what’s important to them.
Southern Teller County Listening Session will be Tuesday, January 24th, 5:00-6:30 p.m., at the Cripple Creek Heritage Center
Those that want their voice heard but do not want to attend in-person, can participate in a Virtual Listening Session from 7:00-8:00 p.m. following any of the Listening Sessions.
The listening sessions will take place January 23 through 28, 2023 in six locations over the three counties, with both in-person and virtual options.
Pre-register for any or all of the in-person and virtual Community Listening Sessions at: www.OutdoorPikesPeakInitiative.org
Unable to attend on the 24th? There will be a second Listening Session in Teller County at the Ute Cultural Center in Woodland Park on Wednesday, January 25th, 5:00-6:30 p.m.
