The neatly-organized shop features a variety of clean and functional items (donated, with proceeds going to those in need), ranging from beautiful decor to useful tools and everything in between. The stock rotates almost every day as new items come in and sold items go out the door. They offer many selected items at deep discounts off their already dirt-cheap prices.
All of the proceeds from the charity Thrift Shoppe go directly to the Community of Caring Foundation and the Aspen Mine Center, which is a one-stop resource center for southern Teller County and the surrounding area. The Aspen Mine Center teams with their agency partners to provide nearly 20 programs for those in need ranging from newborns to disabled seniors. The Thrift Shoppe is located just east of the Cripple Creek Fire Department on Bennett Avenue under Bronco Billy’s Hotel.
The hours are 11a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
