Let us bring out the adventurer in you! Our “Prospector’s Treasure Hunt” is a fun and educational way to experience some of the historical attractions the area has to offer.
Treasure hunters will be allowed to keep their stamped map as a souvenir to record their travels and experiences. This activity is meant to be fun and educational, so please take the time to learn about these various treasures, buy a postcard or memento if available, or take a picture or two to remember your visit.
The Treasure Hunt consists of various locations, or treasures, from within the Gold Belt to include Cripple Creek, Florissant, and Victor . Visit these locations, take a tour, stay for a night, and have a good time! Receive a stamp on your Treasure Map upon completion of your visit, and you are well on your way to being eligible to enter the grand prize drawing.
After the treasure hunter has visited at least 10 of the 15 participating locations, they may have their map validated (this confirms completion of the hunt) in exchange for a free gift.
Additionally, after the treasure hunter has completed their hunt, they may fill out a form (please request this from the staff at your last location) that will enter them into the Grand Prize Drawing. Entries will be accepted until December 20, 2009. The drawing will take place December 31, 2009.
