Celebrations have always brought out the best in Cripple Creek, and
Chili Cook Off – June 20-22
If you like it hot, you’ll love our Chili Cook Off. This fiery competition pits some of the country’s best chili connoisseurs against each other in a battle for green chili, red chili and salsa supremacy. Street vendors, live entertainment and a host of other family activities promise to make this the spiciest Colorado summer event of the year.
Donkey Derby Days
June 27th - 29th

To the Steak Dinner!
Now in its 77th year, this historic festival tops the list of great Colorado summer things to do.
